Welcome to the

FirstTuch Community

This is a safe and judgment-free space for all expectant parents to come together and share their experiences.

As someone who is currently 8 months pregnant with my first baby, I understand how overwhelming and lonely the journey to parenthood can be. It's so important to have a community where we can share our doubts, fears, and milestones without judgment. Becoming a parent is a challenging journey and it's great to have a support system to help us. Our community is here to help you every step of the way, and we are committed to building a trusted community together. We encourage you to share your stories and pictures with us because, after all, it takes a village to raise a child.

As for myself, I had a somewhat hard pregnancy, the first trimester was not easy. I couldn't even keep water down, but the second trimester was blissful aside from getting the mask of pregnancy and having acne for the first time *bites fist haha*, the third has had its mental challenges given that I am neurodivergent. A few things like OCD when it came to cleaning and number compulsions had elevated due to the anxieties of getting things ready for little miss, nothing is ever clean enough (as if she'd even notice lol) at times, I felt lonely and had to create new boundaries with people to compliment my new normal. I am in my mid 20's so a lot of my friends are still enjoying the youthful side of life whilst I am adulting hard being married with my first baby on the way.

Anywho, feeling my baby's movements and bonding with her gave me a sense of comfort and connection that I needed during my transition to parenthood. This is why Adori is so special to me. Although I wasn't pregnant at the time of creating and bringing this device to life, I deeply empathised with the parents who couldn't bond with their babies. Adori was created for inclusion so that all can be a part of the beautiful journey of pregnancy, regardless of their situation, Whether your surrogate lives far away, you work away from home, or you're in a same-sex relationship, Adori is here to help.

So please don't hesitate to ask away, share your pictures, and most importantly, feel safe in our community.
